Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Author Guidelines

 

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

 

  • The manuscript has neither been published elsewhere nor is under consideration by any other journal.
  • The manuscript is written in accordance with the style guidelines and includes references prepared in accordance with the journal’s instructions.
  • The file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word or RTF format.
  • The manuscript has a length of no more than 12,000 words, includes a 150-word abstract (in Spanish and English) and indicates at least four keywords (in Spanish and English).
  • The manuscript has not been previously published and is not under review by another journal.
  • The manuscript satisfactorily complies with the ethical norms of Revista de Gestión Pública

Articles and review articles must be sent, in Word or OpenOffice format, to editor@revistadegestionpublica.cl. They may be in Spanish, Portuguese or English and, in the case of articles, must not exceed 12,000 words and, for review articles, 3,000 words. They must include an abstract of up to 150 words in length, in English and Spanish, as well as four keywords. They should also include a brief biography of the author(s) and a contact e-mail address.  

Review articles must indicate the relevant data about the publication(s) analyzed (author, complete title, city and year of publication, publisher and number of pages). References in the text should be written as follows: (Guerrero 2009: 111). All the references used should be listed at the end of the article in the following format:

To cite documents of other types, AP citation guidelines should be used.
